CONSUMER LAW REMINDERS FOR RETAILERS AT CHRISTMAS

If you are an online business, the laws applicable to you vary slightly from bricks and mortar stores. One difference is that a customer who buys from an online store is entitled to a refund if they simply change their mind. Thanks to the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have 14 days from the date you receive the item to notify the online business that you want to cancel. You then have a further 14 days to return it, in good order, to the seller.
